Taj City Centre New Town, Kolkata

Food was fabulous. Staff were excellent at service recovery when there were issues with my room amenities. I want to compliment Prabal, Shalini, Dipankar, Rumni, Indraneel (GM), Raktim, Shohail, and Pratiksha. These staff delivered exceptional service right from the heart and it was visible. They worked extremely hard and I often met the same crew for the dinner and breakfast service! Always with a big smile. They were dedicated to ensuring that our stay was perfect. I’ll probably go back to this hotel because of their service.

The hotel will always be my choice for a stay in Kolkata due to its rate, location and, above all, the staff. The room rates are very good value for the comfort and convenience it offers. The location is great. Close to the airport, next to a great shopping mall and its access to other stores. The service stands out due to their staff. Special mention to the staff in Shamiana. They make your dining experience extra special as they make sure that you have had everything as per your needs. Thanks to Salini and Riya. The service by the bell boys and the ushering staff is also worth mentioning. Thanks to Salauddin, Sudip and Bikash for going out of the way to help me. Overall, a very good experience.

Everything was very good starting from location to cleanliness but I especially liked their hospitality and the warm feeling of being welcomed. I was travelling alone and the staff would take time to enquire about my stay and I could give feedbacks on the go. I would especially like to mention Raktim and Abhishek from the kitchen team, who were always on their toes looking after each guest and catering to their needs. Raktim also packed a breakfast on the day I left and I really appreciated this gesture. Dipankar and Harsh were very obliging too. In fact, it felt like staying with an extended family which is what hospitality is about.

Taj City Center is one of the best property in New Town Area. The best of this hotel is the hospitality offered to you is superb. No one can beat Taj's hospitality as they will spoil you with services and personal care. We stayed 5 days there and we felt like home away from our home. Special mention to Mr. Sanjay from the room service who is the best to take care of all your needs. The breakfast is good with choice of Indian and continental choices. In overall one of the best hotel I have stayed so far.

Dipankar and his team were exceptionally brilliant. I was planning for a stay with my parents and was worried a bit as my parents were very old. However Dipankar ensured and planned everything smoothly even before we stayed at the hotel. Right from arrival, stay in the hotel and departure was very welcoming, comfortable and would definitely rate 7 star to this hotel! The hotel room was very comfortable, both the restaurants' ambience, customer service and food were mind blowing. The chauffeur, greetings team, reception team and the spa team were absolutely great as well! I would definitely recommend this hotel and I can guarantee you will be looked after very well. Kudos to Dipankar and his team and keep up the great work. 👍 👏
